Joey Rosenberg is the Chief Product Officer for Women Who Code, a global movement that has grown to become the world’s largest and most active community of engineers dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. Joey is charged with leading the incredible team at Women Who Code and fostering an intentional culture of inclusion while holding the tech industry accountable to do the same. She oversees Program, Product that supports 290,000 members in over 134 countries globally to level up in their careers through leadership development, technical skill-building, and networking. This includes an in-person program delivered via 70 volunteer-led in-person networks and Women Who Code’s digital borderless community that is fully delivered online. Joey drives continuous innovation and is the visionary behind Women Who Code’s deep learning technical tracks, its pivot to fully digital programming in response to the global pandemic, the WWCode Fellowship program, and a new practice-based leadership model for engineers.

 

Joey’s professional background ranges from startup to Fortune 50 companies and includes roles in executive leadership, marketing, finance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her experience spans multiple industries, including tech, non-profit, telecom, legal, and logistics. She has spoken globally on inclusion and diversity in tech, and continuously advocates for systemic change that will lead to a world where women from all backgrounds are representative at all levels. 

 

Joey is also an avid volunteer, with 25+ years of experience developing leadership and advocacy programs in cross-cultural contexts. Notable roles include: serving as a World Board Member and Western Hemisphere Chair for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts; chairing global leadership events in more than 10 countries; and supporting grassroots development in Africa, where she helped build health and hygiene programs to educate and empower girls in rural Kenya.

Joey earned a Global Business MBA from Georgia State University, a Global Business MBA from the Sorbonne IAE Paris, and a Certificate in Global Business Management from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She completed her undergraduate education at Kennesaw State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, with a concentration in International Business, Economics, and Policy.

 

Joey currently resides in Florida with her wife and their daughter. She takes every opportunity to explore culture, both locally and abroad, and strives to make a positive impact daily.
